    We are just beginning using the Kamut as a sourdough starter. The flour is well milled and easy to work with. Had to use in pancakes after the first week due to dough not rising adequately but am hopeful that in a couple weeks it will produce and good loaf of bread.

    I use this organic Kamut flour with organic MCT oil, organic coconut sugar, organic eggs and either almond milk, macadamia milk or hazelnut milk and it is out of this world!!! It is also good for you and does not have the genetic modification that our store bought wheat bread has which means it is not going to upset the stomach or cause a leaky gut. It is wonderful!!

    I have often used whole wheat flour in baking, but had never tried Kamut before. I followed a 100% whole wheat Kamut recipe for bread, which included honey and a little, and used it for a deep dish pizza crust. I was very pleased with the results. The dough was easy to work with, and the crust was very tasty. I plan to use the flour to make a sourdough starter soon. I wanted to try a whole wheat with a less complex genetic make-up than modern wheat, and am very pleased with this flour.

    I was learning how to make wild breads and followed the Mary Jane Butters suggestion to use the Kamut flour. I used the whole wheat and love it. Got starter going first try. Love your flour. Thank you for the fast shipping too.
