    Received a 25lb bag. It is very finely milled resulting in an excellent crumb on risen bread. It makes great biscuits as well. The color is beautiful on the backed products. Almost like a saffron infused bread with a subtle but obvious light yellow color. I have been using it alone without mixing with other flours and the bread is the most delicious I've ever made. The rise is fantastic. My spouse seems to have a wheat sensitivity but doesn't have any trouble with the Kamut. I also purchased some spelt but haven't baked with it yet. I can't imagine going back to modern wheat.

    I appeared to have wheat sensitivity and was not able to tolerate any stuff made out of regular /modern wheat (server bloating).
    Decided to give a try to Kamut flour. Initially used Bob's Red Mill brand and was surprised that I was experiencing no issues any more when consumed. However issue with Bob's Red Mill brand was only 1 lb pack availability and higher price. Glad to have found Montana flour and grains who have different pack sizes available (10 lb, 25 lb, and 50 lb) with great quality.
    As frequent buyer, only down side I see is the shipping cost which almost doubles the price of the item.

    This is my second review of whole grain Kamut. I am a very satisfied customer of Montana Flour & Grains and consumer of whole grain Kamut. I developed and maintain my starter with Kamut and Kamut is the primary flour in most of the breads that I bake. I appreciate Kamut's flavor and nutritional value. I also think consumers should support growers who practice sustainable agriculture.

    I received this last week and over the weekend I made a couple loaves of mixed wheat and Kalmut. Much nicer than normal whole wheat and one loaf already disappeared. Yesterday during one of our "I don't feel like cooking" moments we decided to make some apple pancakes using Kalmut for all the flour. I have to say they were outstanding and we fought over the last one. I'm looking forward to more recipes.

    The flour arrived a day ago and I baked French boules with whole wheat bread flour or Kamut Khorasan mixed with unbleached bread flour. The flavor was fantastic--rich and nutty as promised. I was worried that the kamut loaves would be dense because it has fewer glutens, but it rose as much as when I use high gluten flours.

    We are gluten sensitive but not celiac patients. This wheat flour although has gluten it does not bother us when we make Indian bread and eat it. It tastes as good as a regular wheat product but lower gluten. We like it. The only issue I have is with shipping charges. A 10 lb flour bag costs $11.60 but shipping costs $14.

    Just made two loaves of 50% kamut and 50% white flour. They turned out great. Very good crumb, texture and flavor. I used a slow proof sour dough method.

    I have used it in breads, flat breads and pancakes. I feel the quality of the product to be superior and want to request to maintain the quality consistently.

    Packaging was great and arrived within a week!

    Shipping is expensive! I love all montana products.

    I am over-the-moon after finding THIS Ancient Wheat. Ancient Wheat is the only wheat our bodies were meant to eat...not the modern wheat found in all those bags at the grocery store, that has been hybridized so much our stomachs and digestive systems can't handle it.
    I made a loaf of 100% whole wheat Kamut in my bread machine and it was amazing, I couldn't stop eating it...it tasted like Squaw bread...my favorite!

    I just made my first Kamut breads, a 10% whole Kamut, & a 30% whole Kamut, both sourdough.
    Neighbors got the 10%, said it was the best they ever had & wanted 3 more loaves.
    Husband got the 30% & said not to bother making anything else!
    Love it so far.
    Well packaged. Customer service answered questions in a timely manner. Will definitely be getting more.
