    Great flour! Beautiful rise to the bread and excellent flavor. So nice to find a really good organic bread flour for whole wheat bread.     I've baked with a lot of different flours and this product is the best by far. I can really see the difference in the bread...flavor, consistency, and it even costs less than other organic whole wheat flour being sold online.

    I have been a Montana Flour & Grain customer for a few years. My primary flour is whole grain Kamut. But, with my last order, I decided to add the whole wheat bread flour to the pantry. My first bake with this flour just came out of the oven - half and half whole wheat bread flour and MF&G's organic white flour. The dough was easy to work with at 72% hydration and the flavor is excellent.

    Our family goes through a lot of bread flour, approx. 25 lbs. every one to one and a half months. We have tried organic flour from other places, but we would always end up with slight headaches, and we would feel nauseated at times. We are still not sure what it was. However, ever since we found Montana Flour & Grains we can feel the difference in eating good flour. We use this for all our breads, rolls, tortillas, and waffle batter.

    Its fresh, both feels moister and bakes better than I normally find shipped in to the local coop which is only slighter cheaper including UPS, certainly tastes better.

    This is good whole wheat bread flour. It is a little coarsely ground which probably gives it a better GI index. Gluten development was strong and bread had good volume. For organic whole wheat flour, the price was very reasonable. I only wish I was provided with more information about the flour, such as its state of origin (or country of origin if imported) and its protein content (I'm guessing about 13% protiein). It was a little bitter but that is very common in whole wheat. Overall, it is a strong bread flour at an unbeatable price.
