I've been purchasing wheat from MF over two years. The quality is always good. When I use it to make 100% whole wheat bread I found the flour can absorb a lot of water and the gluten is very good. Very happy!

This is my third time ordering from Montana Flour and Grain and I have always been impressed. The wheat is very dry and clean. The taste is exceptional when milling the berries for flour and baking bread. It simply warms the heart to smell fresh baked bread knowing it comes from exceptional quality. Thanks for providing this to a novice baker:)

Within an hour or two of receiving my spring wheat I had it ground into flour. The flour smelled wonderful and within a couple of hours we were eating fresh homemade while wheat bread. And it tasted great. Thanks for a great product.

I have been baking bread for many years now. Most of the wheat I have gotten from the Coop here but the last batch was strange looking and seemed so hard that my grinder was having a problem grinding. Saw Montana wheat on line and ordered some. Being able to get it in 25 pound bag is good as I could never get less than 50 pounds before. I had to throw some out recently and even the birds do not seem interested in it. This wheat seems very good and I like that it is so clean. Thank you so much.

I've been a customer of montana flour for a while now. My son recently had stomach issues, so we decided to eat more wholewheat instead of white flour. I milled the wheat last night and made a no-knead loaf using 2 cups wholewheat and 1 cup all-purpose. My family was suprised at how different it tastes. Regular store bought white/wholewheat flour doesn't have the richness or depth of flavor. I suspect the freshness has a lot to do with the flavor. I set my mill between bread and pastry, so I get a really nice crumb that is chewy.

I was a new bread baker and needed a large amount of wheat so I could mill my own flour. After researching which is the best type of wheat to use -Hard Red Spring Wheat- I searched again and found Montana Flour & Grains on the internet that was 100% Organic which is truly comforting! I have now baked several loaves of bread, hoagie rolls, pizzas and pretzels and all of these foods are so delicious that you just turn down store bought breads. The wheat is clean and in great condition.

I mill my own whole wheat flour and bake bread for my family. I was delighted to find Montana Flour and Grains online and promptly placed an order. I counted down the days until my wheat arrived. My neighbor lady was interested in learning how to bake bread, so I invited her over. We made dinner rolls, bread and Irish soda bread. She was thrilled with her new found skills and the breads. I was happy to pass on the simple recipes for good healthy eating and I loved the freshness of the flour I made. I raise a garden to help us avoid GMO's and pesticide and herbicide laced foods from the grocery stores. Finding a source of Organic, non GMO grains is exciting to me. Thank you Montana Flour and Grains for making your grains wholesome and pure.
